'Possible' tornado hits Limestone County, heads toward Ardmore
BIRMINGHAM (TAB) — A "possible tornado" hit the Athens area in Limestone County today pulling down trees and powerlines, according to alabamawx.com. The Emergency Management Agency (EMA) reported a tornado "on the ground with debris" heading toward Ardmore, according to a disaster relief update email from Mel Johnson, Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions disaster relief strategist.
