Q: What was your childhood like?
A: I had Christian parents and they brought us up to believe in God and to do the right things.
Q: How did you come to know the Lord?
A: Through my parents and at a revival. When I was 13, I heard a sermon and it brought me to know that I needed to accept the Lord and be baptized.
Q: How have you been involved in church?
A: I have taught Sunday School on and off for about 55 years, Training Union for a while, Girls in Action, Acteens and WMU.
Q: What have you gotten from those ministries?
A: Seeing the individuals grow in God’s love and commitment and seeing their faith increase as we study (Scripture) together.
Q: How do you see yourself involved in church in the future?
A: I want to keep going, studying and teaching as long as I can.
Q: What difference has being a Christian made in your life?
A: It has taught me so many things — to be more humble, more caring for others and try to keep my faith working.
