Dennis Goodwin, minister to adults 55 and older at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Birmingham, died May 16. He was 59.
Goodwin first came to Dawson Memorial Baptist in 1991 to serve as minister of education. In 1994, he left to begin a private business called Cobblestone Design in Birmingham but remained active at Dawson, serving as a Sunday School teacher. In 1972, he went to Seoul, South Korea, as a Foreign Mission Board (now the International Mission Board) journeyman and served as youth director at Seoul International Baptist Church until 1974.
Goodwin is survived by his wife of 32 years, Susan, and one son, Sam. (TAB)
