Q: What led you to work with Carpenters for Christ?
A: I saw a need I felt I could fulfill that need. Once I got started, I got hooked. I need the growth that comes from participating in missions.
Q: Why have you continued the ministry over the years?
A: The needs are unlimited and I just want to do my part.
Q: What does this ministry demand?
A: It’s a year-round ministry. About the time we wrap up one project, we are beginning to seek out and plan for the next.
Q: How do other family members support you?
A: My wife supports me wholeheartedly. She is as much missions-minded as I am.
Q: How do you see yourself involved in this type of work in the future?
A: I see myself involved as long I am mentally and physically able. I think the Lord has called all of us to missions and made no mention of retirement.
Q: What difference will this ministry make for you in the future?
A: It has certainly changed my life and made me more aware of needs around the world as well as at home. I can be more involved now that I am retired.
