The women’s ministry of Hunter Street Church, Hoover, will hold Joy to the World: Hope for the Exploited Nov. 15, 6 p.m., in the student building. The focus will be to raise awareness of human exploitation. Kimberly L. Smith, president and co-founder of Make Way Partners and author of “Passport Through Darkness,” will speak. Dinner will be served. There will be a fair trade market in conjunction with national Woman’s Missionary Union. Purchases are cash or check only. To register visit hunterstreet.org by Nov. 13.
