During this school year, David and Jennifer are serving as missionaries-in-residence at Union University in Jackson, Tenn. We have enjoyed meeting the young people attending the university from which Blair graduated. We have participated in many events, like GO Week, which is the missions emphasis week at Union, and have had an open house for those we have met at the college. We were invited to attend a luncheon for the Union Auxiliary and also attended some of the King James Version 400-year celebrations at Union. We feel very fortunate to be able to participate in these events as well as attend many of the churches in the area. We love hearing the music and great messages offered at Union and in the churches. During the spring semester, we’ve been asked to teach the survey of missions class, and we appreciate the opportunity to serve in this way. It has been interesting preparing for the class.
Pray for David and Jennifer as they prepare to teach at Union. Pray that they will be mentors for every student in the class.
Many of our missionary colleagues are facing difficult times because of the economic downturn. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will provide for all their needs. Pray that churches will continue to give to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and the Cooperative Program so those He has called can go where He leads.
Thank you for giving so generously and for praying so faithfully. Our family would not be able to do the work we do without the support of each of you.
