Mat Alexander is the new pastor of First Church, Gadsden. Alexander graduated from the University of Mobile with a double major in theology and humanities. He currently attends Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky. Alexander most recently served as pastor of Sunnyside Church, Shepherdsville, Ky. He and his wife, Whitney, have one child.
