Q: What led you to serve your church’s WMU?
A: I love people and I just love to work in the church.
Q: Why have you continued through the years?
A: I just love the Lord and I want to do it as long as the Lord lets me.
Q: What does ministry work demand?
A: To me it demands commitment, and you should do the best you can with it.
Q: What do you get from your ministry work?
A: Such joy, I can’t describe it. I love the Lord and (love) being around people.
Q: How do family members support you?
A: They really support me very much. My son-in-law is a deacon and two of my children attend the same church.
Q: How do you see yourself involved in this ministry work in the future?
A: I see myself going as long as I can. I visit nursing homes now and I hope to continue to do that. I sit with the elderly and just visit with them.
Q: What difference will this ministry work make for you in the future?
A: It makes all the difference in the world. If you aren’t involved it doesn’t seem like life is going on.
