ATLANTA — The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship has committed $100,000 for emergency relief in Afghanistan, implementing a new partnership with the Christian relief agency World Vision.
The Atlanta-based Fellowship’s global missions arm made its first installment of $30,000 to World Vision Nov. 28. CBF officials said the $100,000 gift would help deliver food supplies in areas hit hard by conflict and drought.
