Union Grove #1 Baptist Church, Albertville, has recently adopted both Asbury High and Asbury Elementary schools. The church is partnering with both schools to provide school supplies to families in need and providing prayer support for the faculty and staff of both schools. Recently members of Union Grove went to the schools and presented school supplies to both principals. On Aug. 25, Union Grove hosted “Spirit Day” at 11 a.m. The church invited the faculty and staff of the schools to attend, as well as their athletic and academic teams. In all, 223 attended the worship service with one making a decision to follow Christ.
