Q: What led you to be so active in church?
A: I was saved at 12 years old and baptized in the creek. I made a commitment to Him that I would follow Him my whole life. I memorized the Girls’ Auxiliary pledge, and I have taken that pledge to heart. I pledged my allegiance to Jesus Christ and His church and its activities.

Q: What do these ministries demand?
A: It means prayer, meditation and study of God’s Word as we worship in the fellowship of believers at the church.

Q: What do you get from it?
A: I get a renewal of my spirit. It is another vision of something that is needed in our community.

Q: How do other family members support you?
A: They are thankful for me and they pray for me. They know my needs. They know my good points and my weaknesses.

Q: How do you see yourself involved in this in the future?
A: I want to stay as active as my health permits.

Q: What difference will these ministries make for you in the future?
A: I think I will be a happy, blessed aged woman. I can rest and rejoice about how I have been blessed through the years and enjoy the relationship I have with Him.
