October 5, 2006

James H. Warren Sr. recently wrapped up 36 years of ministry in south Alabama when he retired as pastor of Navco Baptist Church, Mobile, in Mobile Baptist Association Aug. 27.

After receiving his theological education at Baptist Bible Institute (now the Baptist College of Florida) in Graceville, Warren served as pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist, Gordon; Pleasant Grove Baptist, Pansey; Lambert Grove Baptist, Citronelle; and First Baptist, McIntosh.

His last church, Navco Baptist, honored him with a retirement reception as a send-off.

Starting Nov. 1, Warren — a Mobile resident — will be available for pulpit supply and interim work and can be contacted at 251-460-2825.
