She has taught Sunday School and worked with children in various missions organizations for more than 55 years and is currently on the Woman’s Missionary Union council at the church. At 87 years old, she still loves missions work. Because of that, she has traveled to many states teaching Vacation Bible School and working on construction missions projects.

Q: What led you to work with children?

A: I’ve always loved working with children. I can see the love of Christ in their eyes.

Q: Why have you continued this activity?
A: I just love to share Christ with everyone that I can. I love to see the light that comes on in people’s eyes when they accept Christ as their personal Savior and the change that happens in their lives.

Q: What does the ministry demand?
A: It demands a little time and a lot of love to reach out, but I get a better blessing than the people do.

Q: What do you get from the ministry?
A: I get satisfaction in my life and strength for each day.

Q: How do other family members support you?

A: My husband always supported me as long as he lived, and the boys have always wanted me to go and do the things that I have wanted to do for the Lord.

Q: How do you see yourself involved in this in the future?
A: I hope I’ll be able to work with children as long as I live. The Lord has given me good health these many years to do His will, and I hope He continues to.
