Wanda Bergeron, Local Editions Coordinator

Wanda Bergeron, has worked at The Alabama Baptist since 2005 as the local editions coordinator. She has held positions in management at Raytheon Engineers, Protective Life Insurance Company and government agencies. She recently graduated from Highlands Ministry College and is a member of Birmingham Professional Christian Women’s Organization. Molly Brown, student intern

Molly Brown is a senior journalism and mass communication major at Samford University in Birmingham. She is originally from Montgomery and wishes to continue her professional career in Birmingham. Some of her favorite things to do in Birmingham are seeing shows at the Alabama Theatre and hiking at Oak Mountain State Park. After graduation Molly aspires to work in higher education at Samford. Debbie Campbell, Director of Circulation Promotion

Bill Gilmore, Director of Advertising

Lauren C. Grim, Designer

Lauren C. Grim has worked at The Alabama Baptist since 2004, starting out as an intern and becoming a full-time graphic designer in 2006. A native of Clarksdale, Mississippi, Lauren received her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College. She and her husband, Myles, and new baby Alana Claire, live in Southaven, Miss., and are members of Longview Point Baptist Church, Hernando, Miss. Amy Hacker, Administrative Assistant

Amy Hacker joined The Alabama Baptist in August 2016 and currently serves in the circulation and circulation promotion departments. She has a variety of experiences from the banking industry to real estate. Linda Harrison, Financial Administrator

Linda Harrison is financial administrator of The Alabama Baptist. She joined the staff of The Alabama Baptist in November 2010. Harrison holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Pam Holt, Outside Advertising Representative

Pam Holt, advertising contractor, has worked at The Alabama Baptist since 2008 and moved into a contract position in 2015. She previously owned a retail business in Fairhope and worked in Birmingham with an international company as corporate manager of benefits and humans resources. Pam has several years of sales experience and was one of the original organizers of Riverchase United Methodist Church, Hoover, where she is still a member. Caleb Jones, student intern

Caleb Jones is a senior majoring in journalism and minoring in Spanish at Samford University in Birmingham. He claims both Louisville, Kentucky, where he was born, and Atlanta, where he is currently from, as home “because having two hometowns is better than one.” After college graduation, Caleb would like to go to seminary and continue to pursue full-time ministry however and wherever the Lord leads. Deborah Lowery, Financial Assistant

Deborah Lowery, accounts receivable, has worked at The Alabama Baptist since 2009. She previously worked at Sloss Development Group as assistant property manager/accounting assistant. She attended Jefferson State Community College for two years, majoring in secretarial science. For more than 10 years, Deb has been involved in homeschooling her children. Teresa Maddox, Executive Assistant

Teresa Maddox, administrative assistant to the editor, was employed full-time at The Alabama Baptist between 2000 and 2006 and returned part-time in April 2016. She worked for the Department of Justice during the years between until she retired August 31, 2014. Before moving to Alabama in 1999, Teresa worked for the Florida Baptist Witness. Her son and his family reside in Arkansas. Teresa and her husband, Richard, are members of Shades Mountain Baptist Church, Vestavia Hills. Melanie McKinney, Advertising Assistant

Melanie McKinney has worked at The Alabama Baptist since 2001 as advertising assistant. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and previously worked as administrative assistant at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Birmingham, for nine years. Melanie is married to Terry. Carrie Brown McWhorter, Special Assignment Editor

Carrie Brown McWhorter has written for The Alabama Baptist since 1995. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in English from the University of West Georgia. She also teaches writing, writes website content and other business communication for small to mid-sized organizations, and edits a variety of publications. She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys reading, cycling and camping. Hannah Munoz, Student Intern

Hannah Muñoz, editorial intern, is a senior at Samford University in Birmingham. A native of Clarksville, Tennessee, Hannah plans to graduate in May 2017 with a degree in journalism and mass communication and Spanish. Jennifer Davis Rash, Editor-elect

As editor-elect of The Alabama Baptist, Jennifer Davis Rash oversees the weekly production of TAB in all its formats (print, digital, social media, etc.). She is an honors graduate of the University of Alabama and has a master’s of theological studies from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in Birmingham. Neisha Roberts, Assistant Editor

Neisha Roberts, editorial production coordinator, has worked at The Alabama Baptist since 2011. She graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, and spent two years in Thailand serving with the International Mission Board as a photographer. She enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, cycling and doing crafty things. She likes puppies and peanut butter. Dr. Bobby S. (Bob) Terry is president and editor of The Alabama Baptist. A native of Alabama, Dr. Terry holds degrees from Mississippi College and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Grace Thornton, Special Assignment Editor

Grace Thornton has worked in the editorial department of The Alabama Baptist off and on since 2003. In 2012 she wrote a blog post, “I Don’t Wait Anymore,” that received more than 2 million visits and led to her writing a book by the same name in 2016. She is a lover of good stories and coffee. Maggie Walsh, Assistant Editor

Maggie Walsh has been a full-time employee of The Alabama Baptist since 2014. She began as a summer intern in May 2012 and rejoined the staff as an office assistant in June 2014 before becoming an editorial employee in October. Maggie graduated magna cum laude from Troy University and previously worked for Camfel Productions.
