The Alabama Baptist won the Alabama Press Association’s FOI-First Amendment Award in APA’s 2016 Better Newspaper Contest with “Numbers in state legislation to form lottery, legalize casinos not adding up.” The article by Jennifer Davis Rash ran in the May 21, 2015, issue of TAB.
TAB also brought home a first place award in Division C with the best feature story coverage — “Alabama WWII Veteran: Lord I’m In Your Hands” by Neisha Roberts. (TAB)
