Edna Harden, a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Bynum, in Calhoun Baptist Association, has lost count of the exact number of afghans she has crocheted through the years for children in the care of the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries. Despite being visually impaired, Harden has crocheted as many as 80 blankets a year for the past 30 years and given them for all kinds of ministry purposes. (TAB)
