The ladies of FBC Birmingham make 60 blankets for the Lovelady Center. They took the blankets to the center mid-February and read to the children. ‘It’s our outreach for the year,’ Suzanne Hopkins, wife of FBC Birmingham’s minister of music Joe Hopkins, said. ‘We’ve done teas and stuff, but we thought we needed to reach out into the community.’
