Judson, UM earn national ranking for best online psychology degree

Two Alabama Baptist schools have been named among the top in the nation for their online undergraduate psychology programs.

Judson College in Marion ranked No. 7 and University of Mobile (UM) ranked No. 12 in the nation among private colleges for quality and affordability by Best Degree Programs, an online college resource guide. They were the only institutions from Alabama on the list.

The ranking was created by consulting the National Center for Education Statistics’ College Navigator database to identify private nonprofit colleges and universities offering online bachelor’s degree programs in psychology. The top schools were selected from those with rankings or recognition by major publications such as U.S. News & World Report, according to Jamie Agamalian, manager for online communications at BestDegreePrograms.org.
