Christmas at Church During a Pandemic

Churches of all shapes and sizes know how to celebrate the birth of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Whether it be candle-light ceremonies, advent wreaths, a brief choir special or a large-scale production, a church’s Christmas program provides that pivotal faith connection to the season. But how do we do Christmas at church during a pandemic?

On this week’s TAB Talks, host Jennifer Rash chats with worship leaders of a large church as well as a worship leader representing small- to medium-size churches to hear how they are adapting their plans for the 2020 season.

Learn more from Michael Adler, worship arts pastor, and Ethan Milner, visual arts director, who both serve at Shades Mountain Baptist Church, Birmingham, and Scott Underwood, associate pastor for worship and students at First Baptist Church, Florence.
