Facing Grief at Christmas

December 17, 2019

Christmas and the surrounding holidays bring a heightened level of emotions to the surface for all of us but the season is especially magnified for those who are grieving.

A recent loss or the first Christmas without a loved one can cause dread, anxiety and extreme loneliness while the rest of the world seems to be cheery and in a nonstop celebratory mood.

On this week’s TAB News, co-hosts Jennifer Rash and Debbie Campbell talk with minister and counselor Morris Murray Jr. about the grieving process, how to care for those who are grieving during this season and how those who are grieving can give themselves permission to grieve.

Following the 30-minute interview, TAB staff members and correspondents will present an audio digest of this week’s issue including news, features, Dr. Batson’s Theology 101 column and Sunday School commentaries.
