A new online directory and app recently launched in Alabama to connect services and ministries to families in need at www.achmc.com and the Help Alabama app.
Alabama Pastor Gary Furr chairs the Alabama Coalition for Healthy Mothers and Children and came up with the idea as a way to simplify the search for help. He shares with TAB Talks co-hosts Jennifer Rash and Debbie Campbell on this week’s show how agencies, ministries, nonprofits and others can upload their information free of charge and become part of the virtual community to assist families in need.
Following the 30-minute interview, TAB staff members and correspondents will present an audio digest of this week’s issue including news, features, Dr. Batson’s Theology 101 column and Sunday School commentaries.
